THE FIRST WAS BY THE CREATIVE HEALTH DISTRICT COMMUNITY HEALTH ASSESSMENT WAS DONE FOR THE ENTIRE HEALTH DISTRICT WITH SPECIFIC CALL OUTS FOR PETERSBURG, AND THE SECOND WAS A COMMUNITY HEALTH NEEDS ASSESSMENT THAT WAS CONDUCTED AND PUBLISHED BY THE CAMERON FOUNDATION. SEVERAL CONCERNS WERE CALLED OUT FOR PETERSBURG RESIDENTS BASED ON FOCUS GROUPS AND SURVEYS. THESE INCLUDED THE COST OF PRESCRIPTIONS AND FOLLOW UP CARE. LACK OF ACCESS TO HEALTHY AND AFFORDABLE FOODS.

COMMUNITY SAFETY AND FEAR OF VIOLENCE AND THE LAST, WHICH WAS VERY INTERESTING WAS LIMITED USE OF MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES, EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS ACKNOWLEDGEMENT THAT SERVICES WERE AVAILABLE.
